Gearing up for release on Practice Music, this short but sweet, reflective tune takes subtle beats full of detail, and allows for the multifaceted voice of Osquello to sit above in a variety of ways. The opening rap of 'Between Me And You' doesn’t mess around, with the references to 'doped up athletes' and murder contrasting the sweet, soulful singing voice that takes over for the remaining minute and a half. The saxophone doubling the voice during the chorus adds to the clear jazz influence that the harmony beneath was already showing, while the passionate vocal of verse 2 is something we can expect to see throughout the whole of the Good Morning Simulation EP. -Dan Peeke
